11 april 2024 - Częstochowa - Grabówka, ul. Rybacka. Przed tygodniem wystartowała pierwsza stała linia minibusowa MPK. "Szesnastka" kursuje na trasie Bialska - Sucharskiego, zaliczając po drodze kilka ulic pozbawionych dotychczas komunikacji miejskiej. Do jej obsługi MPK zakupił dwa minibusy Vehixel Cytios oraz wydzierżawił od Iwopolu Sprintera-VDL. Regularnie jeżdżą również Sprintery nr 400 i 407.

Jazda tymi hybrydami jest dziwna - wóz wydaje z siebie przedziwne dźwięki - na zewnątrz słychać przeraźliwe wycie, na postojach pojazd warczy jakby kierowca gazował przy zaciągniętym przystankowym, do tego ta piszcząca elektronika przy hamowaniu (informująca, że baterie się ładują?) o standardowym dla tej marki trzeszczeniu wszystkiego co trzeszczeć może nie wspominając.

Linia 16 od 1 grudnia zapewnia bezpośrednie połączenie między dworcem Stradom, na którym od 14 grudnia zatrzymują się pociągi kategorii TLK, IC, EIC, czy EIP w kierunkach Wrocławia, Krakowa, czy Warszawy, a dworcem Częstochowa Osobowa, pod który autobusy robią wjazd kieszeniowy. Takt wynosi 30 minut.
